ABOUT NC-HRI
Human Robot Interaction Lab is currently involved in research projects addressing key areas of human robot interaction field such as Robot Based Therapeutic Interventions, Human Centered Robotics, Sensing and Perception, Cognitive robotics, VR and AR, Remote and Proximate Interaction and Autonomous Navigation and Manipulation.

The mission of HRIL is to advance and quickly disrupt the state of human robot interactions to the point where they can be useful across multiple industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, entertainment, and hospitality. We strive to make interactive systems and robotics safer, smarter, and faster. Ultimately, the technologies we develop aim to improve performance, abilities, and quality of life for all people.
